Volunteer Funnel

Your time serving the Lord is so important! God uses every little detail to bring people to know Jesus. I like to think of it as a funnel!

From the minute someone drives onto our campus and encounters the Parking Team, he or she experiences an overwhelming amount of love! For example, they are being welcomed by our friendly Greeters and escorted by our smiling Concierges. The Welcome Center is available for anyone who has questions while at the same time the Ushers are available to direct them to their seats. From the initial opening of the service, the Worship Team brings everyone to the throne of God and they experience Him in an intimate way. Then through Pastor Chuck’s teaching on the Word of God, people come to know Christ and there are Decision Counselors available to guide them on to their next step, all while their children are being taught about Jesus in the Children’s ministry. The communion that has already been prepared in advance provides for a time of reflection of what Christ has done on the cross and is the culmination that “funnels” people forward to have an eternal life with Christ!

We are all an essential part of the body and we need every part working in harmony. I love the passion our teams have and how they jump in to help each other. I see so many hugs and camaraderie. I pray that God will use each and every one of us to do His will!

Please join in the fun and volunteer! I know it looks like we have it all handled, but we do need more volunteers! Be a part of the Volunteer Funnel that brings people eternal life in Christ! charlotte@crossroadschurch.com

Romans 12:4-5 Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
