40 Days of 24/7 Prayer

We started our 40 days of prayer on Sunday and it's been an amazing experience! People have signed up to pray every hour of every day for 40 days.  I've been in the chapel twice praying and it's so peaceful and the presence of God is there!  My hour of praying for our church and many other things went by very quickly!

There is a paper that provides some scripture, suggestions of what to pray for and soft music! At the front of the Chapel is a flat screen TV with our prayer wall being shown. As someone adds a prayer request, we can all see it immediately and pray for that request. Anyone around the world can add a prayer and not only will the people in the chapel pray, but anyone viewing the prayer wall on the internet can be praying!  If you go to www.crossroadschurch.com and click on the "All In" part of the page, you can find a place to click on the prayer wall and live video!

Prayer is powerful...so check it out.  If you want to really experience it, sign up at kathryn@crossroadschurch.com or just go pray!!!

Online Campus

Great News!  Posted February 18th, 2010 by Chuck

This Sunday our Worship service can be seen online at 9AM, 11AM and 5:30 PM!

We have been receiving lots of requests from our members who travel and people literally all over the world asking if we could have our church services online as they are happening at Crossroads. It has taken a while, but thanks to Plain Joe Studios and our Tech team, we are ready to go.

My hope is that groups of people will gather together in front of a computer worship with us, take communion together, and share in our teaching time. We would love to know who is doing this and we are brain storming ideas on how to include these groups as a true part of the Crossroads family. The way to let us know who you are is to introduce yourself to the Web host during the service or you can email me at Chuck@CrossroadsChurch.com.

So if you cannot be with us in person, I hope you can join us online via our Facebook campus.

Saving the Convicted!

I just love Arnold & Lenai Carraway!  Arnold is the Pastor of the Crossroads Prison Ministry and Lenai oversees the "Family & Friends of Inmates Support Group. They coordinate a Pen Pal program; Parenting classes at the Chino & Norco Prisons; weekly bible studies at the Norco prison along with various other activities.

Lenai, Arnold and Crossroads School coordinated the Angel Tree outreach where over 250 kids of inmates received Christmas gifts and were able to attend a fastastic Christmas party. It touched so many lives.

Arnold preaches at the prisons and always gives an invitation to accept Christ...many accept the invitation and their lives are changed forever! It's amazing what God is doing at the prisons through Arnold & Lenai!

Next time you see them, give them a big hug!  They always need more volunteers, so if you are interested, email me at charlotte@crossroadschurch.com and I will get you connected. Remember, God gave each of us gifts and we need to use them within our church. In other words...it's in our DNA!  1 Corinthians 12 & 13

Season of Thanks

I am so thankful to the volunteers that serve at Crossroads. We have had many Christmas events this year including the “Christmas Tree Lighting”, the “Narnia Experience”, the “Nothing is Lost That Can't Be Found” concerts (2 nights) and Christmas Eve…not to mention our regular services on the weekend and during the week. What is amazing to me is the amount of work it takes to make it all happen and our church family continues to step in and make it look effortless, beautiful and they do it with excellence.
I know everyone is doing it for the Lord, but Crossroads and I are so grateful for them. Because of them, what is happening at Crossroads is astounding. They are not only building community within our church family, but they are reaching outside of our church and into the community and around the world!

So thank you ~ to all of you that sacrifice your time to help us emphasize the birth of Jesus during this busy season!

December 13th Miracles

I'm so excited about Christmas! We have already had our Christmas Tree lighting, the Narnia Experience and this Sunday will be very special as well. Pastor Chuck's sermon will be about miracles and he will have a few miracle stories. Brianna Burton and Vicky Hoffman are singing a duet about miracles so really don't want to miss it. Brianna and Vicky are two volunteers that sing their hearts out for God. I really wish I could sing like they do!

Be sure not to miss our "Miracle Sunday" service on December 13th @ 9am, 11am & 5:30pm!

Basic Training

Amanda Genduso sent this to me today and I decided to repeat it!

Charlotte,

The Christmas Season here at Crossroads is going to be wonderful! Char, you would agree with me that the spirit is moving! Part of my job this year (I AM SSSOOO EXCITED and BLESSED) is to coordinate the campus décor. Well, as you can imagine this is a HUGE job, pulling out all the décor, moving it to the staging area, preparing it for display…

On Monday I was a little overwhelmed by this task. It’s more than I could do physically. I mentioned my plight to Pastor of Community, Dan Pierce, he said, “Let me send a text out.” Honestly, I thought “Yeah Right! Everyone is exhausted from the Masquerade Ball and Trunk & Treasure.” Five men from our Generate Ministry showed up with smiles on their faces to help! They helped me for hours never complaining! They got poked from the tree branches, dirty, sweaty and glitter flying everywhere!

It is an honor to serve with Steve, Albert, Brad, Dylan, and Sean!

Thank you for your help! You truly showed selfless service~ This season is going to be awesome to watch God move~
